  • Is experience required?

    Not at all! No experience is required. The skills do require some hand dexterity, moderately good eyesight and comfort with handling small pieces. Course is recommended for age 14+ only.

  • Are materials included?

    Yes! If your shipping address is in the US, you will receive a materials kit (value $100+), organized by lesson, that includes all the beads, chain, charms, wire and other findings you need for the course. (and then some!) Orders from outside of the US will receive a materials shopping list. Tools are not included in the kits but are easy and inexpensive to purchase. Read on....

  • What tools will I need to purchase.

    Jewelry Making : The Basics requires a few tools that are easy to order and have delivered right to your door. These tools include: -Set of Jewelry Pliers (Chain Nose, Round Nose and Cutters) -Jewelry ball pein hammer -Metal Block or Small Anvil -A Ruler or measuring tape One can expect tools to cost under $40 total, depending on vendor. A Vendor list suggestion for these tools will be sent upon registration. They can also be purchased on Mimiandlu.com

  • Is the course pre-recorded or live? Can I rewatch?

    The course is pre-recorded and can be rewatched as many times as you'd like! You can learn at your own pace and in your own space. Once you register, tools list will be emailed and the kit will be mailed within 7 business days. You will have access to the course upon registration. (Pre-order access is on 12/5 and kits will ship by 12/5)

  • Do you grant refunds?

    Course sales are final. You are encouraged to reach out with questions or to get more information if you aren't sure whether the course is the right fit for you. If you would like to see a clip of a lesson, feel free to request. If you get stuck along the way, reach out! Our goal is for students to be successful and enjoy their jewelry making journey,

  • What will I make?

    Every kit is slightly different, although most will contain gold color wire, chain and findings. Students can take some creative liberties with projects as well, so each student's jewelry pieces will be unique. See below for some samples of the types of pieces you will learn to make!
